Making origami crane instructions


*1. Fold the piece of paper in half.
*2. Fold the paper into quarters
*3. Unfold the paper
*4. Fold the paper into a triangle
*5. Fold paper on the other side
*6. Take the two corners and fold it into make a square on the top and bottom
*7.  Now push it down
*8. Fold the corners to make a diamond shape
*9. Do the same on the right side
*10. Do the same on the back
*11. Fold the top down
*12. Fold the triangle into the centre
*13. Open the side to make a square
*14. Open the square to make a diamond,
make sure that the flappy parts are facing you
*15. Now fold them down
*16. Open the other side to make it look like a diamond
*17. Fold the sides down
*18. Fold one side of the diamond
*19. Fold the other side of the diamond towards the centre.
*20. Take the side and put it in the centre








*21. Take the other side and  fold it in the middle
*22. now you should have legs
*23. Fold the leg and tuck it in, do the same on both sides  
*24. Fold it in half
*25. Push it down
*26. Open the wings
*27. Pull the wings to make the body  
*28. Now make the head
*Enjoy your origami crane  and teach someone else  these steps

1. Are you pleased with your origami crane? why / why not?
Yes I am pleased with my crane. It was a lot of fun making it.

2. What part did you find easy? why / why not?
Folding the paper into halves into quarters because I have done this before.

3. What part did you find tricky / difficult? Why / why not?
Tucking the legs in because I haven’t made a paper crane before.

4. Who / What helped you in making your Origami Crane?
Miss Paton, Latisha Pace and Angel

5. What would you do differently next time? Think about folding, listening, persistence (not giving up) etc.
Making even folds and doing all the steps by myself.

Ingredient list
1 packet of chocolate melts

Equipment
1 kettle
1 saucepan
plate
* water
spoons and bread and butter knives
molds
fridge
tin foil


Method - action verbs / bossy words
  1. Fill the kettle with water.
  2. Pour the boiling water in the saucepan.
  3. Cover the saucepan with a plate.
  4. Add the melts to the plate.
  5. Stir the melts until the melts are melted.
  6. Pour the chocolate into the molds.
  7. Tap the molds to make the chocolate spread
  8. Put the chocolates in the fridge for about 4 - 5 hours
  9. Tap the chocolates out of the molds
  10. Wrap in tin foil and enjoy.
